Hey Butter and Sugar Sisters! It's Alyce! Welcome back! I went online today and was amazed (and I mean amazed!) to find out that 98 people visited our blog yesterday! Ninety. Eight. Thanks soooo much for visiting everyone, and we hope you enjoy this post!
So all you do is just take the water and fill the spray bottle about 3/4 full with it. Then squirt in a little hair gel, and toss in a spoonful of your sea salt. Then twist the cap back on and shake the bottle until all of the salt has melted into the water. (It may seem like it's going to take forever, but I promise, it won't!) Now it's ready to use! If you'd like, you can print off images from the internet to decorate the bottle!
How to use: So the first step for using your salt spray is to spray the salt spray generously into chunks of your hair. Mix it in slightly, but not all the way.
A few days ago, Lizzie and I made a Salt Spray, so I thought I would share how to do it with you guys! For those of you who don't know, Salt makes your hair wavy (you know how when you go to the beach and your hair gets wavy from going in the water? That's from the salt in the ocean. I know. Mind blown.) So we made this super simple sea salt spray after watching a youtube video on summer DIYs, and now we're sharing it with you! So it's really simple: all you need is a spoonful of sea salt, a squirt of hair gel, some warm water, and a spray bottle! (If you don't have a spray bottle, you can just put the spray in a bowl, get it on you hands, and massage it in your hair whenever you want to use it!)
Once you've sprayed the salt spray in a section of your hair, just roll it up into a mini bun and secure it with a hair clip. (I know, not the most flattering look. But just roll with it!) Now it's up to you. You can keep in the clip for a few minutes, or even sleep on it! It's completely up to you! Then, when you're ready, just unroll your bun, flounce it around a little to give it some volume...
...and Wha-la! Perfect beachy waves! Now, just on a side note, I have suuuupppperrr ddduuuuppppeeerrrr straight hair! My hair barely ever curls, even with a curling iron. So when I do my beach waves, I have to use a lot of the spray, and they don't stay in that long, so if you have really straight hair, that's just a little warning. Anyway, we hope you enjoyed this post and see you soon! (SPOILER ALERT: Something Oreo flavored might be going up soon! Stay tuned!)
